Hi all,
This is an important and urgent meeting (via Facebook Messenger) in which we wish to discuss and vote on some changes to the way in which Muaythai Australia is setup.
The meeting is to vote in a new Muaythai New South Wales constitution (attached), which will help us progress with Muaythai New South Wales becoming it's own Incorporated body (like Muaythai QLD and Muaythai WA). We will still fall under the banner of Muaythai Australia (WMC and IFMA) however it gives us the ability to be able to manager our funds more effectively, raise more funds within our state, and a range of other items.
If approved, the board can then approach the Fair Trade NSW to incorporate, and we can also then apply for State Sports Recognition. Currently Muaythai Australia has an National Sports recognition, so this will be a great way forward for us (especially being recognised with the IOC).
Next year muaythai has been approved again for the ARAFURA Games in Northern Territory, which will also be a stepping stone for the World Games which IFMA has been approved for.
We also need to nominate and vote for the following positions: State Technical Director (R&J), State Coaching Director, State Treasurer which will sit alongside the current board of myself, Andrew Parnham (NSW President) and Eduardo Azambuja (NSW General Secretary).
